Derrick Rose: Torn Meniscus

Terrible news coming from Chicago about Rose and an MRI releasing news that his meniscus is torn. Never been a huge fan of D-Rose himself, but can't deny the talent this guy has. Really shitty news regardless though, I mean can this guy catch one break?

The thing that really annoys me is that one day a 30 for 30 will come out about Rose talking about how if he wasn't injured he'd be the best player of our time and stuff. It's just frustrating when people say how things could have gone if he was healthy because nobody knows.

Oh well, hope for ANOTHER speedy recovery from Rose so he can re-injure his other knee next season. For now, a look at what once was

Chris Kyle Murderer Found Guilty

The jury of 10 women and two men took just over two hours to convict Routh, 27, in the murder of Kyle, 38, and Littlefield, 35, at an upscale shooting range near Fort Worth on Feb. 2, 2013. Immediately after the verdict was read, Cashon condemned Routh to life in prison in the Texas criminal justice system without possibility for parole. Good news to finally put this two year battle to an end. Nothing will ever bring back these two heroes, but nice to see some justice shed on their families and loved ones. Happy to see a guilty man did not get off for claiming to be mentally incapable.

What Would Your Last Meal Be?

Just read an article on Barstool sports talking about a lady with a ridiculous last meal request. It was easily the worst choice of food I could imagine so it got me to thinking what I would eat. She chose: two Burger King Whoppers with cheese (with everything), two large orders of fries, popcorn, cornbread, a side of buttermilk and a salad with tomatoes, bell peppers, onions, carrots, cheese, boiled eggs and Paul Newman buttermilk dressing. For desert she had a glass of lemonade with strawberry ice cream.

Now before I get into what I want.. I can't let this terrible meal go unmentioned. Right off the bat the fact that the last thing this women wants before death is Burger King is so disturbing, BK is easily the worst fast food restaurant out there and that is someones dying wish. Even more disturbing is this lady washing down two Whoppers with a salad covered in buttermilk dressing. What the shit is buttermilk dressing? Salads can definitely be good, but its my last meal who the fuck am I trying to impress. Finally we come to a lemonade, strawberry ice cream combo. Strawberry ice cream deserves the death penalty just as much as this psycho did.

My Meal:
I'll be drinking Bud heavies throughout the meal. I don't know how many, but don't stop bringing them. And make sure they're the cool aluminum bottles, just cuz.

Start me off with a bowl of my families chili and well done buffalo wings and some bleu cheese dip. (keep the celery, I never eat the celery). I need normal wings too, no way I'm going out eating boneless like a bitch.

Follow that with a Sirloin (medium rare) and Crab. Surf n turf for the win, you wanna kill me? Then I'm getting the expensive stuff.

I need a side of mashed potatoes and mac and cheese. Better not skimp with that Kraft stuff either, gotta be the home made kind with breadcrumbs on top.

For desert you can wheel over about 25 fried oreos, some mint chocolate chip ice cream and a piece of NY cheesecake.

Right before I'm electrocuted or whatever I'm tossing back a shot of Jameson and saying some cool line like "see ya up there savages"

Surprise! LeBrons Son is An Animal

So no shocker here but LeBron's son is making the hairless legs of 10-year olds across the nation shake. The kids got no weak hand when dribblings, Kevin Love outlet passes, and shoots from half-court! It's also pretty funny to see how similar his demeanor and mechanics are to his father. It makes me wonder though, if your father is a professional athlete, how can you not be good at that sport too?

Gotta be awesome to just be born into greatness like that though. Just wake up, walk to my walk-in closet filled with 300 pairs of shoes and Nike gear, walk down stairs to my dads personal chef making me french toast and fresh squeezed orange juice or something. High five my dad and Kevin Durant before I go to school. That's the life.

Former South Plainfield Police Captain Admits to Child Porn Production

A retired 25-year veteran and former police captain of the South Plainfield police admitted today to enticing a minor girl into streaming sexually explicit acts over the Internet as he watched from his computer, authorities said. Michael Grennier, 51, of South Plainfield, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Freda Wolfson in Trenton federal court to production of child pornography, authorities said. Grennier faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and a maximum of 30 years in prison at his sentencing scheduled for Feb. 19, authorities said. According to the complaint filed earlier this year against Grennier, the former captain paid a minor girl for years to engage in the sexual acts on the Internet. The complaint also alleged he paid for pictures of the girl naked, and on one occasion gave her and a second victim $500 to engage in sex acts in a hotel room. Grennier allegedly watched the encounter on a webcam, the complaint said.

I just don't get it man. Cops always do the shittiest things. I'm not saying all cops are shitty, because there are some people out there trying to keep us safe while we sleep. But some of them really fuck up the name for the others. CHILD PORN?? When I was a kid the police officers in my town coached our football teams and taught us how to be men. So sad that these kind of people actually exist in the world. I just can't comprehend it. Sickening
